Gulshan, known for his roles in “Shaitan,” “Hunterrr,” and “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota,” has been promoting “Bad Cop” with Kashyap. But their story together began in a very memorable way.
The First Encounter
In a recent interview with Instant Bollywood, Anurag Kashyap recalled meeting Gulshan Devaiah for the first time. He revealed that he decided to cast Gulshan in a film after seeing him dance with actress Kalki Koechlin at his house.
“I saw him dancing to Bachchan songs with Kalki on my terrace. That’s how I remember him,” Anurag shared. He noticed Gulshan’s vibrant personality and was impressed by his lively spirit.
More Than Just an Actor
Anurag further mentioned that Gulshan’s background in fashion, as a graduate of the National Institute of Fashion Technology, adds to his unique personality. “He’s always disapproving of my fashion,” Anurag joked, highlighting Gulshan’s keen eye for style.
A Standout Performance
Anurag also praised Gulshan’s performance in the 2018 film “Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota,” directed by Vasan Bala. Gulshan played a dual role in the movie, which Anurag found impressive. “It was his most incredible performance. I wouldn’t have thought of it,” he said.
