Gunn’s Instagram post showcased the fresh logo, confirming speculations that have been circulating. This logo, worn by Superman in the Kingdom Come storyline, was first leaked by actress Isabela Merced in February 2024. She accidentally showed it in an Instagram story during a table read.

Written by Mark Waid and Alex Ross, Kingdom Come is a legendary comic tale where Superman steps back from being a hero after a tragic event involving Batman’s nemesis, Joker, and a new antihero, Magog. As new, more brutal superheroes emerge, Superman is compelled to return and restore true heroism, joining forces with the classic Justice League.
Upcoming Superman Movie
The new Superman movie, set to release on July 11, 2025, will star David Corenswet as Superman. He will be joined by Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor.
