If you loved watching “Laapataa Ladies,” then you can’t miss this hilarious deleted scene that will leave you in splits. Directed by Kiran Rao, this film has been winning hearts and receiving rave reviews from fans and critics alike. The story revolves around two newly-wed brides who get mixed up during a train ride to their husbands’ homes.

The Missing Bride Mix-Up

In “Laapataa Ladies,” Deepak Kumar (played by Sparsh Shrivastava) loses his wife, Phool Kumari (played by Nitanshi Goel), during a train journey shortly after their wedding. When Deepak arrives home, he realizes that the bride who accompanied him is someone else entirely. Determined to find Phool, Deepak tries everything from seeking help from friends to going to the police.

The Hilarious Deleted Scene

Netflix India recently shared a deleted scene that showcases Deepak’s comical encounter with a fakiri baba. In this scene, Deepak, accompanied by two friends, approaches the baba for help. One of Deepak’s friends introduces him, saying, “This is our friend Deepak. He got married four days ago and…” before being interrupted by the baba. The baba, misunderstanding the situation, gives Deepak some herbs and instructs him to take them twice a day.

When Deepak explains that his wife is missing, the baba changes his advice. He hands Deepak a piece of paper and tells him to offer water to the rising sun and then let a small piece of the paper fly into the air. The direction the paper flies will lead him to his wife. Once Deepak finds Phool, he should give her the herbs twice a day.

This funny interaction between Deepak, his friends, and the baba sparked hilarious comments from fans, who were curious about why such a comical scene was deleted.
